May!

We’ve had a wonderfully imaginative, hands‑on month in preschool. The children used the wooden blocks to build a cosy den, which soon transformed into a lively pirate ship. They worked together to plan, build, and set sail on adventures, showing brilliant teamwork and creativity.

Outdoors, the fun continued in the mud kitchen, where the children mixed, poured, and created muddy “recipes,” exploring textures and using rich language in their play. The sit‑on digger was another highlight, giving them the chance to dig, scoop, and move soil while building strength and coordination.

We also spent time caring for our growing plants. The children enjoyed looking closely at our sunflower, corn, and pea seedlings, noticing how much they’ve changed. Together, we carefully moved them into larger pots, talking about what plants need to grow strong and healthy.
