Amazing April!

April has been a wonderful month of springtime learning and joyful experiences. The children loved celebrating Easter, and we embraced the season with a range of creative and engaging activities. They enjoyed decorating eggs and exploring pastel colours. Our Easter-themed crafts helped the children practise fine‑motor skills, while group activities supported sharing, turn‑taking, and working together. The excitement of the season brought a lovely sense of togetherness to the room.

We also began planting seeds this month, they carefully filled their pots, placed their seeds, and watered them with great pride. Each day, the children have been checking on their plants, noticing small changes. This hands‑on experience has helped them learn about growth, responsibility, and the patience it takes to care for something over time. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity bloom alongside their seedlings.

With brighter weather arriving, we’ve spent lots of time exploring the garden and enjoying the sunshine. The children have been busy spotting new flowers and searching for insects. They’ve had opportunities to use their senses to explore the natural world around them. These sunny garden sessions have supported physical development, sparked conversations about nature, and given the children plenty of space to play, imagine, and enjoy the fresh spring air.
