June fun!

This month, we have enjoyed taking part in lots of exciting activities. During Healthy Eating Week, we explored the importance of keeping our bodies healthy by talking about rest, drinking plenty of water, and using sun cream to stay safe in the sunshine. We also helped save Evil Pea’s frozen vegetables from the freezer, using pipettes and warm water to rescue them!

We enjoyed showing off our stretching and balancing skills during yoga and gymnastics sessions with our friends.

We also celebrated Teddy Bear Week while raising money for Brian House. The children loved bringing their teddy bears from home and taking part in teddy-themed activities, including decorating teddy pictures, reading stories, enjoying a teddy bears’ picnic, exploring a teddy bear ice tray, and colour matching and categorising bears.

We also had a lovely visit from the school readiness team. They talked about our transition into big school, whilst exploring some lovely activties.

To finish the month, we had great fun creating our own unique potions, choosing different objects, colours, and scents to make them extra special.
