January in the classroom!
This month, we have been getting stuck in after the Christmas break!
In the classroom we have played doctors in the home corner, we took turns using the doctors set and helped each other bandage each other up.
Also have used cars to explore colour mixing by adding paint we rolled the cars in the paint and pushed the cars across the page seeing the different effects the cars tracks had.
And we made bird feeders using birdseed and lard we mixed them together and then we rolled them out and cut of different shapes.
In the messy room made our own stickmen using tubes, pipe cleaners and many other resources.
And we compared the sounds of rice sprinkling and pasta dropping one being loud and one being quiet.
We also combined chalk and water to make our marks by using chalk, to initially make the marks and using water to trace over the marks but also erasing the marks too.
