June in the Toddler room!
This month we have been making our very own bus to go alongside our rhyme of the month the wheels on the bus. We painted and decorated a huge box and added wheels. We then placed our chairs inside and took turns driving our bus to different places. We visited lots of interesting places including the beach, the park and home.
We have been singing lots of nursery rhymes for our song box. We have been enjoying our wake and shake songs singing them throughout the day. We are also finding out new songs from the radio at home and let it go has been a firm favourite.
We have also been exploring shapes and using our critical thinking skills to move the shapes and creating different spaces.
At the end of the month we also had a visit from the local PCSO, who talked to us about being safe and how the police stay safe, but the best part was sitting in the police car.
