Messy fun in April!

We have had a very messy month this month!

We have enjoyed making marks with water and chalk on the fence. Using our fine and gross motor muscles to make long lines and circles. Auntie labelled some of the colours we used which we then repeated later during play.

We explored red and green painted spaghetti. We used tweezers to pick up individual strands and pull them apart. We then said they reminded us of ‘worms and caterpillars’.

We accessed the play dough making cupcakes for our friends. We added candles, using number language to count how many we used. We also sang ‘happy birthday’ to our friends.

We used the bricks to make tall towers, we added the bricks to the sand pit to create a construction area. We role played being builders, emptying and filling containers using the shovels.
