July in the Toddler room!

This month we took part in lots of physical activities. We took part in sports week, accessing a variety of challenging activities and taking appropriate risks. We were very proud of ourselves as we received our medals and certificates. We then decorated some yummy biscuits to celebrate our achievement. We scooped up the icing to add on top and then placed on some colourful sprinkles.

We showed lots of interest in dinosaurs when accessing the mud kitchen. Auntie set up a dinosaur wonderland for us to explore, engaging in Imaginative play with our friends. We found lots of bumpy leaf buds attached to the tree. We pretended that they were our dinosaur eggs, placing them in a container to keep them nice and warm whilst waiting for them to hatch!

Lastly, we made summer pictures in the messy room, exploring the colours red, yellow and orange. We commented on what happens when we mix them together and talked about the meanings of our marks.
