June 2025

This month we have been exploring and understanding the world. We have discovered different natural materials such as leaves, flowers, twigs, that were in our nature garden. We used the materials we found to create amazing nature pictures. We also found insects that were hiding in the garden, we remembered to be careful when touching them. We used our binoculars and magnify glasses to get a closer look.

We have shown an interest in washing and dressing babies recently. We used soapy water, sponges and flannels to clean our babies. We used towels to dry them and we picked outfits to dress them in. After, we used our imagination to come up with different games such as ‘mums, dads, sisters and brother.’

We decided to put on our very own puppet show at nursery. We made our own puppets and made tickets for our friends to come and watch. We had lots of fun acting out different scenarios with our puppets and making our friends laugh. We used our team working skills to put our show together.

We have been discussing our home life a lot this month. We made pictures to represent who lives in our house, we added all our family members and pets. We took turns to show our friends our families and talked about what our favourite things to do as a family were. It was interesting to learn about our friends home life and we understand that all families are different.
