Halloween!

This week we’ve been exploring Halloween!
We’ve been dressing up as different characters throughout the week and trying on the hats in the home corner.

We’ve explored the texture and weight of various sized pumpkins, placing them into different baskets to transport around the room. We open up the pumpkin and inside was a very wet, slimy and cold texture! We used scoops to scoop out the middle and then placed it on the tray to explore further.
We even built towers with the pumpkins, placing them on top of each other. They made a very loud sound when the fell down!

We painted a very large pumpkin using a variety of brushes and colours, using all our senses.
