January fun!
This month has been a very busy one. We welcomed some new friends, helping them to settle in by showing them around and helping them to follow the routine.
We enjoyed looking at story books both with Auntie and independently, turning the pages one at a time. We used lots of short phrases to describe the pictures we saw in the book.

We have enjoyed exploring the bricks and block tray, stacking them so tall that they would make a loud crash when they fell down. During this activity we practiced our counting skills from 1-5 and recognised some colours too. We then carried on our counting skills throughout other activities such as counting the shells in the sand and the teddy bears from the classroom.

We were lucky enough to see it snow outside so we decided to put our coats, hats and gloves on to go and explore. It was very cold but very fun. We used lots of phrases to describe our experiences, which Auntie extended introducing us to new vocabulary.

We explored the slimy gloop, emptying and filling containers and made blue Playdough with glitter too.

We have had so much fun, learning new things this month!
