Sensory Fun!

We explored Valentine’s Day. We decorated some yummy pink and red biscuits, showing good hand eye coordination when spooning and transferring the icing. We even managed to get a taste, it was so yummy 😋. Auntie also made a red and pink themed tray, it contained various textures for us to explore !!

This month has been a very colourful one. We have showed lots of interest in posting objects so auntie cut out some holes in a cardboard box to extend this interest further. We showed great critical thinking, turn the pieces to fit through the holes; persevering when it became a bit tricky.

We enjoyed splashing in water. We particularly enjoyed throwing the balls, giggling when they landed and the water caught our faces. Auntie extended our interest in the balls and provided us with some colourful tasty yoghurt. We then rolled the balls and made lots of patterns.

Lastly we enjoyed exploring the paint with our bodies, we used textures brushes to make marks with the paint. We pointed to what we had made and used single words to describe it.
