June – Fun in the Babyroom!

We have been showing an interest in farm animals this month! We have enjoyed getting messy in our pig sty and then making them all clean again in our water bowl.
We have been exploring our duck pond where we got to feel a variety of different textures such as water and chia seeds. We have enjoyed looking at animals books and pointing to each animal we recognise.

We have been developing our filling and emptying skills in the garden. We used different sized tubs to transfer our sand, we then added a water tray to our activity which extended our play even more! We had fun tipping the dry sand into the water and watching what happened. As the weather was warm we splashed in the water which kept us nice and cool, we even splashed auntie which made us all giggle.

We joined the toddlers in the nature area and did some exploring. We found lots of different sized stones which we collected and put into a bucket, we enjoyed shaking the bucket, it made a loud noise as the stones banged together! We heard lots of different sounds while we were outside. We were especially excited when we heard an aeroplane.
