January!

This month we’ve explored lots of exciting activities. We enjoyed accessing the wet sand, we used different sized scoops to scoop it up and place it into the trays. We accessed a shredded paper tray, it looked like SNOW ❄️. We sprinkled the paper with our fingers, making lots of babbling noises and using single words to describe our experience. We ripped up big pieces of paper into tinier pieces, strengthening our muscles. We explored the coloured shapes, smiling as the room changed colours when we put them against our eyes. We’ve explored the outdoors, making tall colourful towers with the bricks. We smashed up large pieces of ice using a metal spoon, we giggled as we felt the texture; auntie described this as COLD and WET. We also felt the frost on the ground and heard the crunchy sound it made as we stomped on it
