March in the Baby room!
This month we have been exploring lots of different textures! We have played outside in the mud and explored the mud kitchen, we have also been using our hands and feet to splash in the foamy water.
We have been developing our gross motor skills by filling and emptying and posting balls and shapes into different sized holes on our cardboard box, we have been showing lots of interest in throwing this month so this was a great way for us to expand our interests in a fun and exciting way.
Auntie created a tub full of gloop and foamy soap, we giggled excitedly as we watched the foam expand. We used spoons and cups to transfer the mixture from one pot to another, we even got some on the floor, it was very messy and very fun!
Lastly we have been very creative making our Easter cards and decorating paper eggs! We got to chose our own colours and practiced our grasps while holding the paint sticks. Auntie introduced some stickers and with support we used pincer grasp to hold them and stick them onto our eggs.
